How do I delete my "temporary files"?

Deleting your temporary files, or temp files, is something you should do before every shift you monitor on AskUsNow!. It can also help when you are in the middle of a shift and experiencing technical difficulties.

To delete your temp files in Internet Explorer 6:

1. If you are already logged in to Flash Chat, please log out

2. Go to Tools > Internet Options

3. Under Temporary Internet Files, select "Delete Files"

4. In the small window that then pops up, please select "Delete all Offline Content" and then click "OK"

5. You can then click "OK" on the Internet Options window, closing it out

6. You're done! Re-log in to Flash Chat

To delete your temp files in Internet Explorer 7:

1. If you are already logged in to Flash Chat, please log out

2. Go to Tools > Delete Browsing History

4. Click Delete Files for Temporary Internet Files

5. Confirm your deletion

6. Close the delete browsing history window

7. You're done! Re-log in to Flash Chat

To delete your temp files in Mozilla Firefox:

1. If you are already logged in to Flash Chat, please log out

2. go to Tools > Options

3. Under "Private Data" select "Clear Now"

4. Make sure you have the "Cache" selected and click "Clear Private Data Now"

5. Click "OK" on the Options window

6. You're done! Re-log in to Flash Chat
