Retrieving Data from QuestionPoint Reports
Librarian Activity
I want to find out how many questions our librarians are picking up.
Reports tab > Institution > Institution Report > Monthly Report > (Generate report for) Chat > Number of Chat Sessions Accepted
I want to find out how many questions our librarians are picking up, individually by librarian name.
Reports tab > Institution > Report by Librarian List > Monthly > (Generate report for) Number (Total) of Chats Accepted
I want to see our librarians’ most recent transcripts (from the past 90 days).
Reports tab > Institution > Reports of Sessions by Authorization*
I want to see how many sessions with our patrons were coded Answered, Followup by Me, Followup by Patron’s Library or Lost Call. (You can view most recent 90 days only).
Reports tab > Institution > Resolution Codes
I want to see how many questions we are picking up that are not from our group (see *BME below). (You can view most recent 90 days only).
Reports tab > Institution > Reports of Sessions > Our Sessions with Others' Patrons*
Patron Activity
I want to see how many questions are submitted by our library patrons. (NOTE: These would be customers that came through your library’s home page, AND are recognized as such because the link to AskUsNow! on your library website points to your library-specific QuestionPoint URL.)
Reports tab > Institution > Institution Report > Monthly Report > (Generate report for) Chat > Number of Chat Sessions Requested
I want to see the transcripts of any sessions with our library patrons (from the past 90 days).
Reports tab > Institution > Reports of Sessions > Sessions with our Patrons*
*BME = “Base Management Environment.” Basically, this is your subscription group. If you are an Academic library, your group contains all of the Academic librarians in MD. If you are a public library, your group contains all of the public libraries in MD.
(Thanks to Beth Cackowski of QandANJ for putting this together)
